  1. I made these today! They had a sweet/spicy taste which was mild. If you prefer it on the spicy side, leave out the brown sugar. I recommend adding a small amount of vegetables as well it just makes it pop

  2. I do have a question though, isn’t ramen supposed to be soupy? 🤔 And if so, how do I make it soupy if I want to?

    Reply
    • Hi, this is the stir-fried version. If you want soupy ramen I’ve got a creamy Indomie recipe on my channel 🙂

  3. In India you don’t get instant ramen you get Maggie and every one spells ramen as reman it’s so annoying 😫😫😫
I wanted to make this recipe but I’m vegetarian so I cannot 😩😩😩

  5. i just made this its so good😩its a little sweet though next time i make it i’ll only do half the sugar

  6. I am confused about the taste!
You didn’t put any salt in it!!
    Is it tastes sweet??
    Can anyone answer me that?

  7. Maybe people are just now realizing Raman noodles are like all noodles just with a bonus sauce/spice packet 🤷🏻‍♀️ Do what ever your ♥️ desires to them! 😄 I like adding lots of veggies to mine

  8. I have been doing this for years and typically instead of thinning with water will use Chinese black vinegar and it gives it a nice acidity. Rice wine vinegar would work to for a cheaper/more accessible option.

  9. ah i make something KINDA similar since i dont really like the spicy ramen, i add like a splat of everything: sesame oil, soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce, spring onion and sesame +a runny sunny side up egg mixed in (highly recommend)

  10. I made this but made some adjustments- no egg, used BULDAK hot chicken noodles (I like the thicker noodle) and added half the spicy seasoning sauce and also cooked the green onions before adding my noodles. So good.

  11. I don’t have brown sugar so can u recommend me any other ingredient that I can add instead of brown sugar…well these noodles look so good I’m probably gonna try these 🙂

  12. This is how I’ve made my ramen so many times. Instead of brown sugar I use a bit of honey along with oyster sauce. This is an age old recipe. Why has it gone viral now suddenly?

  13. WTF is that XD I knewd that tik tok is deep shit full of idiots, and this “RECIPE” only proves it XD

  14. Yumm!! ✨ I did a similar recipe but I added white miso and lemon zest and juice with parmesan cheese got the recipe from Marion. It was yumm as well ✨

  15. Honestly, just buy Indome Goreng. You don’t need any fresh ingredients and it’s the only sweet/spicy noodle you’ll ever need or want to make again. Plus it’s like 40 cents per pack!

  16. I made it and omg it was amazing
I didn’t have brown sugar so I made it with white and it still tasted amazing

  17. Why are you browning the butter? You’ve got sugar in the recipe you don’t need to caramelise it 😱

I’m going to try this and let you know my honest opinion.

    • Okay so it didn’t take me long to make it which is great and it was pretty tasty. I would definitely eat it again.

  19. Pro tip: if you have some oyster sauce, use half tablespoon of that instead of brown sugar, istg it tastes like heaven!

  20. The recipe is actually really yummy! But I added a little bit too much of red pepper flakes, overall it’s pretty good and simple

  21. So I made this it was bomb, definitely recommend adding that last egg in it really pulls the meal all together.

  22. Okay so I made this with garlic powder instead of garlic and paprika instead of chili flakes (imma use the flakes next time but I didn’t have any) and it tasted so good OML I cannot get enough

  23. Unlike pasta, ramen is kind and equal to everyone because you can do whatever you want with them! I usually hesitate to watch pasta videos because of all the Italians complaining and ruining the atmosphere. But ramen videos I am always delighted to watch♪

  24. I’m not the only one whose first thought was “oh, this is basically a poor man’s yakisoba”, right?

  25. I usually don’t have the ingredients for ramen and this is probably the only one that has ingredients that I have.

  26. This is how I always make my noodles. Well..not the same process,I don’t use soy sauce then sugar u just use sweet soysauce and my method is different but all ingredients are same😂😂

    • @Sadia Rahman I saw someone say in the comments that if you arent a fan of brown sugar you could try oyster sauce instead!

      Reply
    • @Sadia Rahman haha no problem I’m very picky as well. I’m Chinese but I’m more familiar with Thai food 🙂 very yummy stuff

      Reply
    • @Ferret In sweatpants ahh okay. Thank you! I’m south Asian so I have quite a high spice tolerance. Just wondering, idk how knowledgeable you are with South Asian food but do you think it would perhaps suit my food palette. I’m sorry I’m just really picky 😅

      Reply
    • @Sadia Rahman it definitely depends if you wanna change the amount of your ingredients! I definitely do it sometimes the noodles in my opinion aren’t that spicy but I put in quite a bit of brown sugar you don’t have to follow the recipe directly but DO NOT ADD A LOT OF SOY SAUCE. your noodles will end up too salty. It definitely depends on ur spice tolerance too

  27. This is actually very good, I ate it with a side of baby carrots and rise seasoned with parsley, salt, and chives. 100% recommend.

  28. am i the only one that hates this? /: i was so excited to try this but it tasted very odd and sweet i didn’t like it at all when i made it

  29. I’m a really terrible cook but I always like trying new types of ramen. Does anyone know what would be a good not too spicy substitute for the red pepper flakes?

    Reply
  30. I tried this 2 days ago but it was way too salty. Maybe I added too much soy sauce. Also, cane sugar works if u don’t have brown sugar (:

  31. They are super yummy! But personally I would add less brown sugar because it’s a little too sweet for my liking! But otherwise it’s great thank you! 💕

    Reply
    • @John Burke I am the exact same! Hence why I think I wasn’t a huge favor of the brown sugar, but at the end of the day, it’s about preference and personal taste

      Reply
    • Is the brown sugar even necessary? I read the last comment, but I ain’t about sweet noods. I like hot spicy noods

      Reply
    • Sugar is to balance flavor though like adding pinch of salt to hot cocoa.. brown isn’t as sweet as white sugar.

    • @Just Apxil the flakes don’t really have much taste i put a tiny bit in and i hate spicy food and it was fine w me. Otherwise you don’t need to put them it it will probably taste the same.

      Reply
    • @twesuie I made it it tasted awesome! My dad is a chef and he approved it. Just a tip mix the egg into the noodles. Hope you try it too. :9

      Reply
    • @Just Apxil garlic powder and paprika apparently, won’t be as spicy tho so you can use actual finely chopped peppers too

      Reply
    • @Dylan Corros no, I’m not talking about pancit but Lucky Me Pancit Canton. It is an instant noodles that tastes just like how she cooks the ramyun in this video. Try googling it

  32. I substituted the crushed peppers for finely chopped green chili, and decided to make it an egg drop ramen instead of cooking the egg with the sauce.

  33. The garlic didn’t need to be cooked for that long it only needs to be sautéed for a second. Also the heat was up way to high for the first ingredients you added. Other then that it looks delicious

  34. DO NOT EAT CRUSHED RED PEPPER. Seed will store in your bladder. Sub with grounded red pepper. Young people don’t care and make videos

    Reply
    • They do not. This information is a lie. However they can cause bladder irritation at times but this is rare.

    • Use sesame oil instead of butter and add a little bit of ginger. I dont see how this is “viral” imo it’s just a really simple rip off teriyaki sauce rlly

    • It’s actually a practical way to cook because one it cooks fast, and two you get the flavor out of the peppers better if you heat it first. Also tho this depends on preference that color of burnt butter or garlic isn’t that bad. Besides the outcome looked delicious so no reason to criticize🤷‍♀️
